Two Main Generations: Gen11 & Gen10 Plus (H2)
At the heart of this DL380 Gen10 Plus are 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. This HPE server supports DDR4 memory up to 3TB and PCIe Gen4 expansion slots. It fits small to mid-size virtualization clusters and database systems. Além disso, the Gen10 Plus adds extra drive bays for high-capacity SAS, SATA and NVMe storage arrays.
HPE DL380 Gen11 (G11)
Newer DL380 Gen11 models upgrade to 4th/5th Gen Intel Xeon CPUs with up to 64 cores total. Unlike Gen10 Plus hardware, this HPE DL380 Gen11 adopts faster DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 I/O channels. It supports up to 8TB RAM and multiple GPU cards, making it ideal for AI inference, big data analytics and hybrid cloud platforms.
